Vikings: A Symphonic Quest

The Danish National Symphony Orchestra invites us, in this fascinating concert, to participate in a journey that takes us to the ancient coasts of Norse mythology. Within the framework of an unusual symphonic format, an ancestral musical tradition resurfaces from the darkness of time, to become an epic soundtrack of the world of the Vikings and the Nordic cultural universe. The concert features the special participation of Faroese singer-songwriter and actress Eivør Pálsdóttir and Norwegian percussionist Einar Selvik as soloists. Selvik’s work on the soundtrack of the television series Vikings, where he also appears as an actor, has given him a particular international presence. He has also worked on the soundtracks of Assassin’s Creed and Valhalla, while Eivør Pálsdóttir participated in the soundtracks of God of War in 2016 and The Last Kingdom in 2018.
